Congratulations to Civilian on releasing their debut album, Should This Noose Unloosen last night at Backbooth in Orlando, Florida. The album came out amazing, and I’m happy to have served as Executive Producer alongside such wonderful talent as Dan Hannon, Brad Fischer, and TW Walsh.

For those unfamiliar, Civilian is a band from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is the current incarnation of Alexander, a band led by singer and songwriter Ryan Alexander. I proudly produced the albums White Flags And Silver Spoons Have To Sleep In Separate Rooms in 2007 and It’s Not Always Signs, It’s Not Always Wonders in 2010. In 2011, we were mid-production on a third album together when the band changed its creative vision and identity. Now labeled as Civilian, they began work with Dan on would become their debut album.

My message to you is: pay attention to Civilian and get this record.
